Tangerine 616 Headers

The Tangerine 616 Exhaust System is a custom high performance 4-2-1 header and muffler for street application
on Porsche 356 and 912 616xx engines, based on the race proven Tangerine EVO design for Type 4 engines.

Sound level is throaty but not loud at idle, and aggressive but not especially loud at wide open throttle.

Based on results from our Type 4 exhaust systems, expected torque and power increase is about 10%
in comparison to oem and typical aftermarket exhaust systems.

Primary sizes available: 1 1/2" - for up to 1800cc, 1 5/8" -for larger displacements.
Pipe length is optimized for redline at or below 6000rpm.

The equal length pipes improve tunability and fuel efficiency of the engine since each cylinder will be doing equal work.

The header is mild steel, with alumino-ceramic high temperature coating inside and out for long life and reduced exterior temperature. 

The muffler is fabricated of 100% T304 stainless steel with special baffling and 2 kinds of high temperature sound absorbing material. 
The tips are polished stainless steel.

Exhaust System Pricing

1 1/2" Stock System - $2095
1 5/8" Improved System - $2195

Price includes:  High temp coated header, EVO II Silencer, mounting hardware

These systems are custom built to order and may take up to 12 weeks to produce.
A 50% deposit is required to place an order.
Several Muffler options are available.  Multi-tip options have an increased price: Dual tip +$225, Twin Tip +$125
Upcharge for these items will be billed with the final payment invoice.

Final payment is due at least 2 weeks before delivery.

International Orders: a 1% added handling fee will be included in the final invoice to offset increased Paypal fees.
